1. Purpose
This AUP is designed to protect Swaply, our users, and the integrity of the financial system. It supplements our Terms of Service and applies to all access to and use of the Service.
2. General Conduct Rules
When using Swaply you must:
- Comply with all applicable Nigerian and international laws and regulations
- Provide truthful, current, and complete information
- Use the Service only for yourself or your authorized business — not on behalf of undisclosed third parties
- Treat other users, customer support, and the public with respect
- Report any violations or vulnerabilities you discover
3. Transaction & Account Rules
- You may only fund your wallet from a bank account or card held in your own name
- You may not split transactions to evade limits or reporting thresholds
- You may not use Swaply to facilitate payments for third parties acting as unregistered money services businesses
- Source of funds must be legitimate and verifiable upon request
- You must declare and document the ultimate beneficiary of large transactions
Structuring is a serious offence
Deliberately splitting transactions to avoid reporting thresholds (structuring or smurfing) is a criminal offence under Nigerian law and will result in account closure and reporting to authorities.
4. Content & Communication Rules
You must not upload, transmit, or share content that:
- Is unlawful, defamatory, obscene, or harassing
- Infringes intellectual property or privacy rights of others
- Contains malware, viruses, or any code designed to disrupt the Service
- Constitutes spam, phishing, or unauthorized advertising
- Misrepresents your identity or affiliation with any person or entity
5. Security Rules
You must not, and must not attempt to:
- Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Service without written authorization
- Circumvent authentication, rate limits, or security controls
- Access or attempt to access non-public systems or data
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the Service
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service
6. Enforcement & Reporting
Violations of this AUP may result in:
- Warnings and educational notices
- Temporary or permanent suspension of features
- Account closure and forfeiture of balances (where lawful)
- Referral to law enforcement
- Civil or criminal legal action
